Joni Davis has always been inspired by the beauty and bounty of Northern California. Born and raised in Sonoma County, she developed a deep appreciation for kitchen magic at a young age. This love of food has sustained her throughout her life; from studying for her Bachelor's in Music at Goldsmiths College in London, through her time as an independent musician, and into her to work in kitchens all over Sonoma County. After focusing on music, Joni decided to return to school and had the time of her life obtaining her baking and pastry certificate from Santa Rosa Junior College. Since 2011, Joni has been working as a professional baker and pastry chef in Sonoma County, gaining experience in kitchens throughout the area including Nightingale Breads, Bistro 29, Lowell's, and Jackson's Bar & Oven. Joni is thrilled to come full circle as an adjunct instructor in the Culinary Arts Department at the SRJC.
