Steven Vargas is a born and raised Petaluma native. As an alumnus of the Santa Rosa Junior College Culinary Arts Program, Steven says, “I am forever grateful for my experience in the Culinary Arts Program at the Santa Rosa Junior College. Having gone through the program, I was able to learn and cultivate skills that prepared me to work at some of the best restaurants in Sonoma County.” Upon completion of his studies Steven founded an acclaimed restaurant in Petaluma, called Table Culture Provisions. He adds, “Excellence is cultivated through learned and shared experiences. The instructors at the Culinary Arts Center, shared with me their wealth of experience. This helped me prepare and devote to a path of learned and shared excellence in the restaurant industry.”
